Our Fees
The session fees at WholeMinds Psychology are below the recommended National Schedule of fees by the Australian Association of Psychologist (AAPI)
The suggested consultation fee for a 46 to 60-minute session for
2024-2025 is $315
*Not a Bulk Billing Practice*

Doctor/Paediatrician or
Psychiatrist Referral
If you are referred by a medical professional you can access 10 rebated sessions (per calendar year) under the Better Access to Mental Health Care Plan.

Medicare Rebate: $96.65
Gap Payment: $123.35/Session

Private - No Referral
For personal reasons, some clients wish to access sessions without a referral. These sessions incur the full fee without access to a rebate.

Department Veteran Affairs (DVA)
Sessions booked with a valid DVA referral are covered in full.

No cost incurred by the client.

*DVA does not pay cancellation fees therefore these are billed directly to the client as per the cancellation policy below.

Queensland Police Staff
QPS staff can access confidential session under an Early Intervention Treatment Plan (EITP). Contact your injury management / human services officer and request for an EITP to be sent to WholeMinds.

No cost incurred by the client.

NDIS Funding
Plan or self-managed participants can access psychology using their NDIS funding. Within capacity building, psychology sessions may be accessed under:
- Improved Daily Living (CB Daily Living)
- Improved Relationships (CB Relationships)

All NDIS participants are provided with a service agreement and invoiced as per the NDIS price guide.

WorkCover
Sessions booked with a valid WorkCover referral are covered in full.

No cost incurred by the client.

*WorkCover will not pay cancellation fees therefore these are billed directly to the client as per the cancellation policy below.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Emma has facilitated Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) to local Government Departments and commercial business in the region with availability to provide both onsite and offsite EAP services.

EAP offers short-term support to individuals and groups of employees in Australia, providing help with personal or work-related issues that impact their wellbeing and work performance. Emma can support employers in meeting their legal responsibility to provide a safe work environment.

Medicare Mental Health Centres
This is a free service for adults over 18 years who are experiencing distress, feeling overwhelmed, or concerned about themselves or someone they care about.

Life happens and we understand you may need to cancel or postpone.

Please provide at least 48 hours notice (excluding weekends and public holidays) to avoid a cancellation fee.

​Cancellations between 48 hours and 24 hours (excluding weekends and public holidays) prior to your appointment may incur a charge of 50% of the consultation fee.​​
Cancellations less than 24 hours (excluding weekends) prior to your appointment may incur a charge of 100% of the consultation fee.
